Can remaining materials (e.g., feed for the line-following car, since it can be handled by hand) be rearranged by hand during the match? What are the relevant regulations?

If Car C malfunctions during the Mission, and the feed is within the vertical projection of the Scoring Zone, the team may take the feed back to the Starting Preparation Area and manually place it on the car. However, if the vertical projection of the feed is in any area other than the Scoring Zone, only the car may be taken back for Maintenance. In this case, the feed must be pushed back to the Starting Preparation Area by Car A or Car B before it can be manually placed back on the car.

Is it allowed to perform Maintenance on the robot?

Same as the Basic Group, permission from the Judging Panel is required. No points will be Deducted, but the timer will not stop. After Maintenance is complete, the robot must return to the Starting Preparation Area. Please raise your hand to notify the Judging Panel in advance.

Preparation time (before the match) for the R4M Advanced Group

180 seconds.

What should be done if Maintenance is required for the robot?

Permission from the Judging Panel is required. No points will be Deducted, but the timer will not stop. The robot must return to the Starting Preparation Area. Touching the robot without permission will result in a warning first, followed by a Violation penalty. Teams may request to restart from the beginning with a point Deduction. For repeated non-compliance, the Head Judge will make the final decision.

What are the regulations for Image Recognition?

Only the cars and the Recognition Cards used for identification can be handled. The color of the Recognition Cards must match the color of the car.

Can the robot resume after Maintenance?

After receiving permission from the Judging Panel, the robot can restart from the Starting Preparation Area.
