Advanced Group Work Specifications
8.6.7. Motor Usage Restrictions: The motors used in Robots A and B may not exceed 5. For Robot C, the motors used may not exceed 4.
Mission 2 : E Image Recognition Area
(1) During image recognition, the red, green, and blue vehicles are provided for contestants to use when solving the task. Contestants may manually obtain the recognition area for image identification. In addition, participating teams may manually place vehicle models numbered 1 to 9, one by one, from the temporary vehicle parking area onto Robot C. The placement must follow a specific order and regular sequence; manual sorting or classification is not permitted. Only after the image recognition system has completed identification will the system automatically send signals to Platforms C and D.
(2) For vehicle models No. 1–9 in the temporary parking area: the vehicle rollers provided by the organizer have all been replaced with model #7344-W10-O3Y. Compared to the previous rollers, the increased thickness results in a wider overall vehicle width. When designing Robot C, participating teams must carefully evaluate whether sufficient load capacity and gripping space are available to ensure smooth vehicle operation.
In addition, during transportation and operation, the vehicles must still comply with the orthographic projection size limit of 26 × 36 cm.
In R4M Basic, is it allowed for participants to manually place the feed onto Robot C?
The feed can be manually placed onto Robot C by the participant. However, when the Robot C is operating, do not touch the feed with your hands.
In R4M Basic is it allowed for objects to interlock (snap together) for transportation?
Objects may be transported using an interlocking method; however, they may not be directly attached or permanently connected to each other.
In the R4M competition,Can teams apply a layer of black tape on the line-following sensor to prevent interference from external light?
