Below are the supplementary informations regarding the rules for the 2027 GMJr Programmer competition. 

1. To prevent miscommunication from younger contestants during the competition, the rule allowing runs to end early before the 6-minute time limit has been removed (and early completion will no longer serve as a tiebreaker).

2. To ensure fairness, all contestants will be given 2 minutes to move items from the preparation area and place them outside the field map.

3.During the 6-minute competition, every robot must enter the Size-Checking Gauge for size verification prior to each attempt on the track (please refer to the image below for the sizing box). Robots that fail to meet the specifications will not be permitted to compete. If adjustments are required due to exceeding the size limit, they may be made within the 6-minute window. Robots may only enter the track once they pass re-inspection.
